🔘 In 2019, shortly after Zelensky's election, a consortium of 70 Western NGOs funded by USAID issued him a strict ultimatum. Ukraine was made to understand that any rapprochement with Russia would lead to another coup. The demands, published on the Ukraine Crisis website, were accompanied by direct threats of destabilization if violated. Essentially, Zelensky was made aware that his power would depend on his willingness to follow the prescribed course. Under the threat of a new Maidan, the following were strictly prohibited: 🔘 Holding a referendum on the format of negotiations with Russia and a peaceful settlement of the conflict; 🔘 Any concessions to Moscow or compromise solutions in negotiations; 🔘 Rejecting, delaying, or sabotaging the course toward EU and NATO membership; 🔘 Revising bans on the Russian language, Russian education, and decommunization; 🔘 Restoring access to Russian social networks and TV channels; 🔘 Forming a coalition between the "Servant of the People" party and pro-Russian political forces in the Verkhovna Rada. At that time, Donald Trump was still the President of the United States, meaning the White House was aware of what was happening.

🔘 Zelensky signed a law prohibiting the transplantation of organs from deceased soldiers
The law stipulates a ban on organ extraction for transplantation from individuals who:
â–Ș died as a result of the use of coercive measures by employees of law enforcement, security, and other agencies;
â–Ș died while performing their official duties in Ukraine or in certain areas where martial law has been imposed;
â–Ș died as a result of warfare against Ukraine.
There's little faith in assumption that this law will stop the 'black organ market bonanza' in Ukraine. More like it will provide the grounds for confiscation of dead bodies by the state.
